The engineer must authenticate and query the "Network Health" resource using a token header and a millisecond timestamp query parameter. (There was a similar question where "site health" was swapped out, requiring the same drag-and-drop interaction.) Given that we are currently in the era of AI-assisted programmatic collaboration—and since I happen to have some background in programming and automation—I chose to take the 300-435 exam. The exam focuses heavily on Python syntax, API fields, and HTTP request methods. Fortunately, there were no hands-on labs; I wasn't required to write a complete script from scratch. This exam served as a certification renewal. There were a total of 61 questions; questions 1 and 40 were new to me—a rather daunting start right out of the gate. I scored 72% in the "Controller-Based" domain; I may need to cross-reference my answers against AI-generated solutions to verify their accuracy. I just finished the exam this afternoon. The exam environment was good, and we started 15 minutes early. There were 89 questions in total: 3 lab questions, 5 diagram-based questions, and the rest were multiple choice. The question bank had a high coverage rate, probably over 90%, and the supplementary questions were very accurate. I encountered about 4-5 new multiple choice questions. One asked what interface to use for connecting GBIC and SFP, and another asked about identifying Access Points. I hesitated between WLAN ID and SSID, but it didn't affect the overall result. The diagram-based questions covered AAA and DNS, exactly the same as those in the question bank. There were three lab questions, all from the supplementary question bank: The first question involved configuring IPv4 and IPv6 addresses for two routers; be sure to calculate the subnet mask. The second question was about static routing, specifically the one in the question bank pointing to R6 10.200.225.6. The third question involved configuring VLAN naming, port binding, and the LLDP discovery protocol. I misremembered some words in the code for the first two lab questions, which kept causing errors. After struggling for an hour, I finally gave up and got 0 points on the first two questions. I passed the 300-410 exam—thank you so much! The actual exam was largely consistent with the question bank, though I did encounter three new questions. The exam included a total of three lab exercises covering VRF, DHCP, and IP SLA. All of these were drawn from the question bank, although some minor adjustments were made to specific configuration details. Lab exercises carry significant weight in the exam, so it is crucial to practice them extensively during your preparation. In addition to the labs I encountered personally, other candidates have reported that topics such as DMVPN and ACLs are also frequently tested. Pay close attention to the questions. The exam consists of a total of 59 questions (including drag-and-drop and multiple-choice questions) and 6 lab tasks. 1. The lab tasks are tested first: (1) The OSPF configuration task, specifically regarding summarization. (2) Configuring "policy 9000 packets." (3) Configuring VRF FINANCE on Tunnel 0. I was unable to successfully ping the destination for this task; even after applying VRF FINANCE to interface E0/1 (the interface connected to the switch), connectivity was not established. However, I was able to successfully `tracert` (or `traceroute`) to the remote end. Note that the remote router is inaccessible—it appears grayed out in the interface, so you cannot click into it to log in. (4) Configuring BGP. The requirement here is to configure it under the `address-family` mode. Everyone needs to pay close attention to this point; I spent a long time stuck here. When specifying the `neighbor` command, I tried using the Tab key for auto-completion, but the `remote-as` parameter simply wouldn't appear. I struggled with this for quite a while until I finally decided to manually type out the entire `remote-as` command, at which point it worked. It was a real trap! (5) Configuring LACP on switch interfaces E0/0 through E0/2. After completing the configuration for this task, you must issue a `shutdown` followed by a `no shutdown` on the interfaces; otherwise, Port-channel 1 (Po1) will not come up. (6) Configuring traffic filtering to allow EIGRP traffic to pass through. For the second sub-question of this task, I nearly gave up; however, after taking a closer look, I realized it involved configuring a `monitor` session.
